At Eternal Disability Care, our Medium Term Accommodation (MTA) provides transitional housing for NDIS participants who need a temporary place to live.
MTA is designed to bridge the gap—typically for up to 90 days—when you have a confirmed long-term housing solution, but you cannot move in yet. This might be because your Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is still being built, your current home is undergoing significant modifications, or you are waiting for an appropriate vacancy. Our dedicated team is here to ensure you have a safe, fully accessible place to call home during this transition.
How does funding work? Community Participation is typically funded under two NDIS categories: Core Supports (Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation) for everyday support, or Capacity Building (Increased Social and Community Participation) for skill development. Please note: NDIS funding covers the cost of your EDC support worker’s time and travel to assist you. The participant is responsible for personal expenses, such as event tickets, entry fees, or meals purchased during the outing.
